About the video«s for a performance: I UL 2 Quicktimers.. the first "ins.mov" is something made in an "oldschool avantgarde" style and is just an experiment with insects and there attraction to light. Not that glitchy I guess :).
So the 2nd one, called "absinthemix.mov" is an excerpt from your mp3 absinthe.mp3 plugged into my a/v-box,
you can read about it at my site, under projects_a/v-box. 
The main thing is that the box messes up the sound, distortion and other bi-effects, but pay no real attention to the sound  (at least not it«s quality), just note that the sound effects the glitchy_noisy images the box produces.
I made this box quite a while ago, and later on I found out that Gert-Jan Prins (you probably know who he is, or at least what he does) has some sort of box that he use in his performances and just run it through a TV.
Maybe this isn«t what your looking for, I really don«t know.
